Designed in the early part of the 1920's, Pendleton's® Chief Joseph blanket continues to be one of Pendleton's® most popular designs for over eight decades. It celebrates the memory of the Northwest's greatest Nez Perce warrior, the heroic Chief Joseph. Chief Joseph's Nez Perce name was "Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kert", which translates to Thunder Rolling Down Hill. The Chief Joseph blanket is the oldest, traditional blanket produced by Pendleton® Woolen Mills. Its design concept is balanced with native arrows and arrowheads that are symbols of bravery and pointing in all four directions of Mother-Earth. The colors are vibrant and heart-warming, and add a special added touch to the decor of any home. 82% pure wool /18% Cotton, dry clean, made in USA.
